I am staying at a hotel for my event this week in Nevada City. I searched long and hard for a hotel that was available for 5 nights. This was the only one I could find...
- There is only one employee that I have seen doing the following jobs: Front Desk, Housekeeping & Room Service (He is also probably the pool guy, maintenance guy, gardener, the cook at the continental breakfast , etc. etc. etc.)
- Room Service... Kinda? (He did mention "if you need anything call #37 from your phone, but the phones are shut off after 9:30pm, so make sure your friends or family call you on your cell" - Wait. What? They shut off the phones at night, who does that!?!
- MY FAVORITE: He gave me the "brand new room" because there was a FIRE in it and it was completely "remodeled". Yes they consider the room that was once destroyed by a fire, "The Deluxe Suite".
Tonight is my first night... I will fill you in on more details this week. Wish me luck.

I sincerely hope that you make it out alive. For some reason I can see your next posting being something along the lines of "the person who died in the fire now haunts my room". Good luck :)
