First Snow of the Year

Last night we got our first snow of the year. We decided to drive up to see my grandma and take our Christmas photos.

Penny had never been to the snow and we weren't sure how her reaction would be. To our surprise she loved playing in it.

I took this photo for my mom and dad... it reminded me of them... beach chairs covered in snow. A far cry from where we'll be celebrating Christmas this year! I can't wait to see everyone.
