(I know that there are only two people that really read this so I apologize to Mom & Dad (my devoted followers) for not updating this site.)
Today is Jeff & my 2 year anniversary. I cannot believe that it has been two years already. It seems like not that long ago we were getting ready to be married. Mom reminded me of how excited Jeff was on the morning of our wedding and it made me smile. I had completely forgotten about him waking up at 5am and coming over to my parents house to help out with all of the last minute items. I am truly blessed being married to such a wonderful man!
Tonight for our anniversary I get to go to Stockton. Jeff has his second softball game and he can't miss it because they'll have to forfeit if he's not there. So I'll be sitting on the sidelines cheering him on like a good little wife. I really hope that they do better than last week. You can't get much worse than a 13-1 loss.
To make up for him having a game tonight Jeff cooked me dinner last night. His dad gave him a delicious recipe for Chicken Parmesan. OH MY GOSH. Words cannot even begin to describe how good this was... the homemade sauce was to die for! If anyone wants this recipe let me know and I will be happy to send it on. I was going to say that this was all we did for our anniversary. A nice simple meal together. That's all I think anyone really needs to celebrate. But then I remembered our trip to Reno 2 weekends ago.
We went to Reno for a "pre" anniversary vacation. This is what you call vacationing on a budget. The Peppermill had sent us an offer that we could not turn down. A free room in a suite, and a $100 free playing money. We also got a free room for our friends Joe & Amanda. Even though the weather did not cooperate we had a blast. Jeff and Joe got to gamble and Amanda and I went bargain shopping on Saturday. We also had some drinks and tried our luck at the tables. We ended up breaking even. So the trip didn't really cost us anything. Now that's what you call a dream vacation, a free one!

Count me in on that recipe. Although I tend to modify recipes, I will try to stay on task. Thank you for the mention. Should I also remind you of the 200 rolls of toilet paper I told Fred to buy for the wedding. Luckily, Jeff interceded and we only got about 100. No Costco runs for T.P. for over a year after the wedding. Love Mom
